Hi

I am collecting the documents for DS-260 ( I am the petitioner of my mom). I have the following questions:

1- Can I email the documents or should my mom email them? And if I can email the documents What email should I use to email the pdf files? (My mom’s case number starts with DMS)

2- Can I email the photos too or I must mail them?

3- I don’t work but my husband works? Can I use his income as mine when I fill out the affidavit of support for my mom? Can I also EMAIL the affidavit of support too?

Thank you very much for answering,

what country? I'm assuming if you have to file the ds-260 the case is 100% electronic and everything has to be emailed in a pdf file, they will not accept anything mailed on paper. If you are the agent your mom chose, you can email them. No, you cannot use you husband's income as your own. As the sponsor you are the person filing the affidavit f support, not your husband.

yes you can email everything, just attach them to a pdf file and you're good to go. Just make sure you get all the originals docs to your Mom for the interview. Good luck!!!!

It might be a good idea to read the wiki I wrote on EP and online forms as Syria has both.

1. Doesn't matter who emails the packages, as long as NVC receives them, they don't care. Please read the wiki I wrote, the email addresses are there.

2. Since EP is required for Syria, everything must be emailed. No snail mail is allowed. Read the 'Scanning' section in my wiki to see how I scanned the two passport photos.

3. You'll have to fill out an I-864 (whether you have income or not), and then your husband will fill out the I-864A. Does he have sufficient income for your household size? And again, it's required to email everything in Syria. Nothing can be snail mailed.
