biometrics for re-entry permit

hey all...

i am a LPR since 2006 and i am applying for a travel document(re-entry permit)i sent it on dec 20th and uscis received it 24th of dec and date of notice was dec 27th..they sent me the receipt on the 5th of january..i just wanna make sure when will i receive the mail or when shud i expect the mail that has an appointment for biometrics in it cuz i need to leave the states on february the 3rd...thanks in advance..

you're an LPR since '06? why haven't you filed for citizenship instead?

nonetheless, it's hard to predict when they'll send you schedule for the biometrics and leaving on the 3rd of Feb might be cutting it too close.

if you know where the asc office is, you can attempt to go in earlier.

thank u all for ur answers...so i git the mail today the 18th of january that says my appointment is on jan 28th so its gonna work...i didnt apply for citizenship cuz ive been travelling back and forth to my home country cuz i study in medical school back there..thats why my residency isnt enough to apply for naturalization
