I was just checking my wife's AOS status online, and saw the following message, got confused.

On January 13, 2013, we mailed you an appointment notice for an interview for February 28, 2013, at NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER. Please follow the instructions on the notice. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283

interview at National Benefits Center???

I haven't received the appointment notice yet, so I don't know what's exactly on the letter.

Anyone have the same experience?

got the letter last night, apparently, they list national benefits center for all the online status, even if your letter says it's your local USCIS field office.

Yep. The email notice for interview is a new thing, and my guess is that since NBC generates the message, they cannot for some reason list another location for the interview, so it says NBC. The interview is always at your local office, however.

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!
