Wait... I'm sorry.. I haven't translated mines and it passed NVC's test. So for the interview should I bring a translated one in English.. I thought that if it was in the native language of the country (DR) it was ok???

General rule of thumb is to translate anything and everything into English that's not in English. So be safe and have everything translated. You'd rather send in your application a week later with everything translated than get a RFE later and add weeks and months to your whole application process. So OP, yes, translate your police certificate.

I DID NOT translate mines and it was accepted... Remember it clearly states "All documents not written in English, or in the official language of the country in which application for a visa is being made, must be accompanied by certified translations and submitted to the NVC"

In other words since your police report is coming directly from DR and your are applying for the visa from that country you do NOT need to translated.

That makes perfect sense. But I'd still get it translated and ready if needed. Oh and in some countries you can ask them to issue the police certificate in English. That is the case with Bangladesh.

I'm not translating mine since opening it invalidates the certificate. You should check there are no rules like this in DR too.

I got a checklist for not sending in a translated pc even though it was in vietnamese. the checklist delayed us 9 days, so yes you should get it translated just to be safe.

You should definitely get it translated. We live in Cyprus and for the police check here we asked if we could have it in English rather than Greek to avoid getting it translated as it was for a US visa. That might be an option for some to avoid the expense of an official translator.

SHE CLEARLY STATES IT TO SUBMIT WITH HER DS230... MEANING SHE IS AT THE NVC STAGE NOT USCIS!
