Seems as though it is being adjudicated. But it's difficult to determine based upon their response that you're still within normal processing times and they are processing Jan 28, 2011 and prior. I'm not sure. It almost sounds like they are saying stop contacting us, you're well within processing times, and then in the next breth they are saying your case is being adjudicated by an ISO. Like it could be approved soon. I'm unsure. It's kind of confusing.

They will probably answer it, but I can't promise their reply will not be just as confusing as the initial response.

I dont know but it seems pretty clear to me.

Your application was received July 22, 2011. Unfortunately their currently processing applications in that category that were received on or before January 28, 2011.

So, since Im guessing you inquired, where is my case, your case is "with an Immigration Services Officer at this time."

But its under a big pile and not going to be gotten to in a while because again - their currently processing applications in that category that were received on or before January 28, 2011. and yours was not received until July 2011.

You can check processing times for the VSC here to see what date they are currently working on-

Well im confused a little because first they say that you case is under normal processing time, and then say that you case is already under an officer, i think by officer they meant to say that you case is under vermont processing center......but anyways there is a good news at least that is clear, and its that vermont has started to move since they are not any more with only until 23 january 2011 but now they are also working until 28 January 2011,so it seems they have moved 5 days now, so that's a good news !!!

a few weeks ago, my husband sent an email to VSC to follow up our case but we a little bit confused what does it mean? specially the bold line. can anyone tell me ? thanks a lot.

here is their reply:

Unfortunately, all of those responses are prewritten responses, meaning they just copy and paste the message and send it to you and edit a detail or two. They won't even attempt to help you unless you are beyond the processing time. And I thought we had it bad having to wait 6 months for VSC for a K-1...spouse of PR is 2 years wait.

2011-05-21: Matched on eharmony (clearly not in my 60 mile radius preference!)

2011-07-30: Met in Ottawa

2011-08-28: Day I knew I wanted to spend my life with her

2012-01-21: I proposed, outside in the freezing cold!

2012-02-06: Mailed out K-1 via FedEX

2012-02-10: NOA1

2012-08-01: NOA2

2012-08-17: Packet 3 received (email)

2012-09-10: Packet 3 sent

2012-09-12: Packet 4 received (email) with request for 2 photos

2012-10-29: Medical in Toronto

2012-11-06: Interview - Approved!
