Was there anything on the site that was untrue ?

Some of the scriptures on the front page were from the Qu'ran. But the links on the side were from web pages that push an agenda. Now did these things happen? I don't know but from what I read it looks like the same thing Fox news did with your article, took an event and removed the context which would make it less sensational. I would post some here but I can't get to the site from my job. It funny, I can go to wikipedia but I can't go to that site because it's classified as a violence hate group speech.

Ok admittedly the news story fox quoted did not make clear she was arrested for fraud. Still the crux of the problem in Egypt and some Islamic countries in relation Christian prosecution is real.

As for the web site, I have not been there, but in essence if all it is doing is posting true stories, albiet one sided I don't see how it can be a hate site any more than many sites that have been linked to here, that only portray Israel in a negative light can be a hate site.

I am dead serious . If everything posted on the site is true, even if it is one sided, how can it be a hate site for telling the truth. I mean most of the sites you post from have a very slanted one sided reporting of events against Israel.

Of course not. I have trained officers from Saudi and Jordan. Good people. I just don't see how it can be a hate site, if everything it reports is true.

Wikiislam is indeed a hate site, created with the express intent to disinform, distort, deceive and demonize everything about Islam. It is directly linked to the "Islamophobia Industry," led by the likes of Pamela Geller, Robert Spencer, Daniel Pipes, David Yerushalem, Frank Gaffney, Steven Emerson, Brigitte Gabriel, and a couple more. Their stock-in-trade is to distort the meaning of Qur’anic verses and Islamic or Arabic terms such as jihad, sharia, taqiyya, etc. They especially enjoy generalizing specific incidents as if they reflect on all Muslims or all of Islam, in order to constantly push false memes such as “the danger of creeping Sharia,” etc.

Wikiislam was established in 2006 by “Faith Freedom International,” which describes itself as “a grassroots worldwide movement of ex-Muslims and all those who are concerned about the rise of the Islamic threat.” FFI says one of its goals is “helping Muslims leave Islam.”

FFI was founded by an Iranian ex-Muslim-turned-atheist living in Canada who uses the pseudonym “Ali Sina.” He has stated, “We strive for the unity of Mankind through the elimination of Islam, the most insidious doctrine of hate. Islam can’t be reformed, but it can be eradicated… Islam, like fascism, appeals to people with low self esteem and low intelligence… There is no such thing as moderate Muslim… Every “moderate” Muslim is a potential terrorist… I don’t see Muslims as innocent people. They are all guilty aes sin. It is not necessary to be part of al Qaida (sic) to be guilty. If you are Muslim you agree with Muhammad and that is enough evidence against you.”

Not surprisingly, Abu Sina also appears to be anti-Semitic. He has posted many rantings about the "evil" of Judaism, and picks up Hitlerian ideology claiming that Iranians are “of the same genetic stock as Germans” and are thus culturally superior to Arabs.

All of this is good enough to get him into the inner circle of the most notorious American Islamophobes, including the well-funded and well-connected Geller and her cohort Spencer.

Geller & Spencer, of course, co-founded “Stop the Islamization of America” (SIOA,) which is a subsidiary of their “American Freedom Defense Initiative” (AFDI.) Both of these organizations have been designated as “hate groups” by the Southern Poverty Law Center as well as the Anti-Defamation League.

Geller & Spencer teamed up with Euro-Islamophobe Anders Gravers and his “Stop Islamisation of Europe” (SIOE) to form yet another hate coalition called “Stop Islamization of Nations” (SION.) And who was named to its Board of Directors ? None other than Wikiislam's founder, Ali Sina.

Anyone starting to wonder why the same cast of characters keep showing up behind all these attempts to attack Islam, or why they need so many different groups to try to advance their agenda ?
