i.Formal letter of request from Nigerian husband accepting Immigration Responsibility

ii.Formal letter of request from the wife

iii.Photocopies of the first five (5) pages of husband’s Nigeria Standard passport

iv.Photocopy of marriage Certificate

v.Duly completed form IMM22 in triplicate copies with three (3) recent passport photographs

vi.Applicant’s National Passport

SO DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY SAMPLE LETTERS OR REQUEST? IM CLUELESS HOW TO WORD THEM.

Just following up, were you able to get the Niger-wife visa? And if so, did you have to get an STR visa from here first? Trying to sort out the steps I need to follow for my trip to Nigeria this summer.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

Thanks so much for the link. I just have a question that maybe you can shed light on.

It says:

"As the main applicant (person applying for the work permit) will be applying for an STR (Subject To Regularisation) any accompanying dependents will need to apply for a straight forward visitors visa into the country.

Only once this is granted and you (the foreign partner) have arrived safely into the country can you then apply for your longer term residency."

My husband has a Nigerian passport and will not be applying for an STR. So to get the Niger-wife visa in Nigeria, can I get a tourist visa to get into Nigeria or DO I have to apply for the STR?
