Hello! I am in need of help! I spoke to my lawyer and she told me that she usually sends all papers for the interview directly to the embassy...is this a normal process? I'm really concerned. She stated she hasnt had a problem in the past.Has anyone experienced this with the Islamabad embassy or anything else? Should i send a copy of everything to my fiancé directly anyways? I'm REALLY concerned help would be REALLY appreciated . :( please!!!

I'm not sure how the job is for the lawyer, but i think that if you're really concerned about having your lawyer send the papers to the embassy then ask him/her not to and send them with you're fiance. either way, the embassy wants those papers during the time of the interview and if they get it sent from the lawyer or handed to them by the intending immigrant i don't think they care as long as they have it. but if you're asking because you're not comfortable about you're lawyer sending it, then ask if he/she would simply give it to the fiance instead. but i would double check with others who have gone through the islamabad embassy just to see.

hi Mariam..I really don't endorse the lawyer's point of view at all

to be honest send maximum documents at USCIS & NVC stage n keep minimum for Interview day

this helps them to make up their mind prior to the interview

otherwise i m sure AP must be coming in the way which u certainly don't want

so act smart & try flood them with watever you have before file reaches to Islamabad

Stay Blessed

Okay! i'm a bit confused :( I dont know if i've lost my comprehension skills from this stress or what. Do I've read that for this visa alot of people have their fiance's take lots of evidence and etc to the interview with them. Now I've also read in many cases that the officer's dont even look at what the fiance brings with them to the interview. So my questions are as follows:

(this is a fiance visa k-1)

What should he take with him to the interview?

Does he need a copy of all of the entire packet we originally sent to them?

Proof of on-going relationship from the time we filed until now?

Do they really ask for your email address and Facebook Passwords?

(I'm a little disgusted at the thought that someone would want to read our conversations in depth like that, somethings are personal!)

Also How do they collect this $240.00 fee, like how can you pay for it?

Sorry for all these questions i'm just tired of this process and pray to Allah that this gets processed soon so I can get married and have my father's operaitons and etc. Lots of issues!
