Packet 3 requirements

Hi everyone,

My fiance just received packet 3 today from Cairo embassy. We're a bit confused about some things. First off, there's an expired form in the packet?? 2nd for form DS230, there's only 2 pages included (one sheet front and back). Page 3/4 and 4/4 is not included. I know I can print those forms from the internet, but is this normal to happen??

Also, I read somewhere that form DS157 is required as well but I can't find it in the packet and it's not mentioned in the instruction sheet at all. Should we include it or not?

Last, what exactly should be sent back to the embassy and what should be taken with him to the interview?

Go online and get the up to date forms (if there are any)

And complete all and any forms you think you may need.

Cairo has been known in the past to ask for an I-864 just to slow you down after the interview

So send in the I-134 but give him the I-864 for his interview

And cairo has been known to delay for you using outdated paperwork (that THEY sent you)

I have no idea of what 157 is? sorry

My fiance received the same outdated forms and the DS-230 was missing pages too. We printed the current (and complete) ones from online and sent those instead.

Sorry but I haven't heard about the DS157 form either.

Since you both haven't heard of DS157 I won't worry too much about it then.

I'll also include I864 to be taken with him to the interview. Thanks for the input!!

One more question please. Where it's asking for a copy of his passport, should we include just the front page of his pic and identification or should we print out the whole passport?
