We aren't really discussing anything. You think it's silly that Obama's children go to a school with guards. There are perfectly logical reasons as to why that is, but you haven't responded to any. Hardly a discussion.

Arming every school is hardly a trivial issue. Arming every school with what exactly? Minimum wage, poorly trained armed guards provided to school districts by the lowest bidder? Thanks but no thanks.

Why pay someone? Use those welfare mom's, then they'll know what homework their kids aren't doing. Just give them the guns for a day, but make sure they no which end is the working end first. Nothing is more dangerous to those child killers than a pissed off welfare mom.

i tried to watch the ad but i hate that dude's face. what a chump.

there was an article in the local paper monday, two mom's are campaigning for armed security in county schools here. today there is an article in the same paper detailing the teacher shortage and why teachers are leaving our area for higher salaries over the mountain.

if you want to throw money at schools (and please do) put it towards education, not a false sense of security.

and it appears the same people who keep talking about obama's kids having armed protection appear to be the same people who are constantly muttering that they hope obama is assassinated. the irony..

Your post title indicates that armed guards are only for Obama's kids and the elites, and not for us. Unfortunately, you didn't say anything other than that. You offered one line of text to start a new thread. No discussion, no opinion, just "Armed guards at schools for the elite and obama’s kids, but not the rest of us. " ... does that not imply that you disagree with Obama's kids being protected and our kids not being protected? Especially considering you linked to some BS NRA link.

That is true. But in a response to one of my posts, you made it seem as if you were part of the discussion. If that is true, then what you post would appear to represent your position. If you just wanted to spur a discussion w/o being a participant, then you shouldn't use the word "we" along with the word "discuss". As a bystander, you are not part of the discussion.
