What type of visa are you applying for? Without information in your profile or your timeline not completed no one has a clue. Are you applying for a K-1 visa (CENOMAR) ?

:time:

For the NSO BC and CENOMAR, plus the NBI (need the "for travel abroad" - green paper) you need to bring the originals you received. No additional certification is required.

I would recommend that you get extra copies (4-6) of your NSO BC for bringing to the USA as you will need a copy from time to time.

I'd get one extra copy of the Cenomar too, just because it's cheap and why not have another original! And yes, four copies of the Birth Certificate if not five.

NSO BC and Cenomar is already 'certified', and so is NBI.

The only place we have to have documents certified was at the Thai Embassy for applying for police clearance. They made my fiancé get a set of fingerprints at the local police station, and then go to the DFA and get it certified.

But for the embassy, you just need originals. No DFA certification. At least, we never had any of our documents certified.

Ya really think an extra original of the CENOMAR is needed? CFO only wanted a copy of the CENOMAR but I guess giving them an original won't hurt.

He's talking about the red ribbon. No, you do not need the red ribbon certification on anything for the interview. The red ribbon certification is only used in the Philippines. America doesn't care about it.

pabit blue ribbon. good beer. but nothing I've seen in America beats Red Horse.

 I will dearly miss Red Horse when we get back to the US; but I can't wait to say hello again to my good friend Mickey's Malt Liquor  What I've been looking for is that Gold Eagle beer from San Miguel. I saw some people drinking some 40's of that in Boracay but I'll be darned if I can find it in Metro Manila.
