I'm still waiting on Packet 3. Apparently NVC sent to Van. sometime between like.. the 9th and 14th?

I don't want to bother them to find out :P

I did shoot off an email to Vancouver though to see if they had recieved it yet. Haven't heard anything so far.

I'm hoping to land an interview before the end of the year, but I don't know how realistic that is.

I'd recommend calling and emailing - it seemed to do the trick for me when I knew that NVC had sent through my petition. In a twisted way I think they may show you some more love if you harass them!

I dreamed about my interview last night.

There were a bunch of people lined up at the consulate, all VJers! Everyone was laughing and knew one another. I had arrived without my documents and had to run back home for them. I was worrying as the line of VJers was getting longer and longer, and everyone was dressed better than me!

I just got the envelope with all the necessary paperwork from my fella yesterday afternoon. He was cutting it kinda close, so I think it was a stress dream!

I'm already planning my little wine and cheese celebration and inviting people, so I hope I I don't get a denial. Maybe I shouldn't be so trusting and look through the paperwork he sent me... :P

I'm getting really excited. Not that I will be moving immediately, but still!

once NVC told me they sent it, I didn't call or email anyone. Eventually, I got a packet 3. It took a little over 2 weeks. I am betting you will get something next week. If you are really worried, email the consulate, but I don't think 2 weeks is cause for alarm, personally.

I emailed NVC and they got back to me within 5 days.

Just as a point of interest, I emailed on the 9th, and again on the 14th. On the 14th I rec'd the response from the inquiry on the 9th with new case number, and saying it had been forwarded. TODAY I rec'd the response to the inquiry from the 14th, saying they had no record of my "old" CSC case on file

Doesn't look like Van is gonna cooperate and pitch me an email today, so I'll just cross my fingers and toes that it'll get there soon.
