WE SUBMITTED MY HUSBANDS WAIVER ON NOVEMBER 29, 2012 AND IT IS FINALLY APPROVED. IT WAS APPROVED FRIDAY JANUARY 11, 2012, I CALLED TODAY AND THE LADY TOLD ME THAT OUR WAIVER WAS APPROVED AND THAT MY HUSBAND HAD A PACKET READY TO BE PICKED UP AT THE DHL LOCATION. HE WENT TO PICK IT THIS MORNING AND THE INSTRUCTION LETTER TELLS HIM TO SEND IN HIS PASSPORT ALONG WITH THAT LETTER AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. IM SO HAPPY, WORDS CANNOT DESCRIBE HOW HAPPY WE ARE, I WAS LITERALLY CRYING WHEN I FOUND OUT. GOD IS GREAT

BUT I DO HAVE A QUESTION, AFTER HE SENDS THE PASSPORT IN WHAT WILL BE NEXT? HOW LONG WOULD IT TAKE TO GET HIS VISA IN HAND SO HE CAN FINALLY COME HOME?

I REALLY APPRECIATE YOUR RESPONSES :) GOD BLESS YOU ALL (F)

Will you let us know when he gets his passport? I would like to know about how long yours takes! Thanks.

I have been checking my husbands visa status on www.ceac.state.gov. They recieved passport Jan 18 and today Jan. 22 his case was updated this is what is says :

Your case is ready for your interview when scheduled at the U.S. Consular section. If you already have an interview appointment scheduled, please prepare your documents as directed in your appointment letter and appear at the consulate on the appointed date and time. Present your appointment letter at your interview, if you do not, you will be turned away. Otherwise, please wait until you have been notified of your interview appointment.

Im confused now. does this mean that my husband has to go to another interview??? I thought that they were going to send the passport back with a visa. I called the Ciudad Juarez Call Center and the lady told me to wait a few days and see if we get something at DHL, she said it could be anything. It could either be my husband's passport with the visa or it could be something else

Is there a way to know if the visa was issued? I just want to know what I'll be expecting at the DHL. :help:

Im so ready for my hubby to come home. (L)
