additional passport photos for Beneficiary !!

Hi Everyone,

I'm curious to know if anyone else has had a similar issue:

Today I received a call from a attorney who is following our K1 visa case and stated that he recived an email that requesting additional 2 passport photos for me (Beneficiary)!! We've been waiting 5 months at USCIS and fter such a long time asking Photos؟؟

hopefully someone can give me some insight. :cry:

They probably lost them or the original ones you sent weren't adequate. It sounds like a RFE to me. Just get them to your lawyer asap. The quicker you get them to him the quicker you'll be approved. Should only take 15 mins at a photographer.

04/04/2022: Status changed to “The U.S. Department of State has received your application for your passport book on 04/04/2022. We're now reviewing your application and supporting documents...Your application locator number is 51*******.

04/04/2022: Check for passport cashed.

05/03/2022: Status changed to "The U.S. Department of State approved your application for your passport book. We're now printing your passport book and preparing to give it to you. You should receive your passport book on or around 05/09/2022."

05/05/2022: Passport Received.

05/09/2022: SSA Citizenship Status Updated.

05/25/2022: Naturalization Certificate received in mail.

Actually we scared to wait a long time until we get the approval but is this scary thing to ask after such a long time pictures??

5 months is the average waiting time; they are just now getting to your case. Send the photos.

Hey, I'd take it as good news. They didn't deny your petition. They likely think it's good to go, but just need a couple pictures from you. Express mail those photos now! :D

For the entire process, we needed 1 petitioner photo and at least 6 beneficiary photos, 1 for the K-1, 2 for packet 3 (after NOA2), and 3 for medical. I'm not sure what your consulates process is, but 2 additional photos came after NOA2 for us.

2011-05-21: Matched on eharmony (clearly not in my 60 mile radius preference!)

2011-07-30: Met in Ottawa

2011-08-28: Day I knew I wanted to spend my life with her

2012-01-21: I proposed, outside in the freezing cold!

2012-02-06: Mailed out K-1 via FedEX

2012-02-10: NOA1

2012-08-01: NOA2

2012-08-17: Packet 3 received (email)

2012-09-10: Packet 3 sent

2012-09-12: Packet 4 received (email) with request for 2 photos

2012-10-29: Medical in Toronto

2012-11-06: Interview - Approved!

2013-04-05: POE Thousand Islands

2013-04-20: Wedding
