is he dealing with the hr department? sounds like he's asking the wrong person for the letter. why would they refer to this request as 'his problem' - people have to get letters all the time for loans.

if i were him, i'd go higher up..

adorable baby btw :P

He can send in copies of his W-2 or pay stubs in addition to his tax transcripts as proof of income and employment. He can also consider sending is copies of his bank statement showing his salary being deposited on a regular basis. Those should suffice, unless the USCIS is requiring a letter from his employer for a specific reason, other than to verify employment and income. I hope these suggestions help.

Sounds like that is enough, but I had gotten a letter. It does not have to say you are guaranteed employment, just that you work there and a salary with dates.

In Arizona its hot hot hot.

he dosnt have a bank account currently. he will be giving me his paystubs and tax transcripts. i also have a cosponsor. and he IS dealing with the HR department and they did provide him with a letter initially, but it wasnt on company letterhead and did not provide all information needed. so he went to his boss and thats who said he doesnt care and hes not there to write him a letter.

im just getting everything together for my visa interview and im hoping that the lack of this employment letter wont be a major deal. im not sure whats going to happen i feel like this is a big deal if this document is not aquired.

and thanks! baby isnt that small anymore tho! but its the last picture all three of us have together! <3

An employment letter is just supplementary and not required. Does his pay stub have his yearly salary on it? Also has he tried just going to the HR office (not his boss) and having them re draft a letter with exactly what he wants? He should make sure to include a list of the information he needs included in the letter so they don't leave something out next time.
