From the few of us that filed in September, it usually takes about a month to hear back from the Rome Embassy and then another week to hear from Naples so don't worry, I am sure you will hear from them by the end of the month. They also were off for holiday on the 1st and will be again this Monday.

How long til you heard from Naples?

It took about a week to hear from Naples. They will give you a case #, packet via email and then once you're comfortable and have all your documents, you can scan/email or fax the Applicant Statement. There is also the DS260 to complete online so you need your case number before proceeding.
