Can I add my daughter to an approved I-130

Oops. My bad. I did a quick search and found a couple threads from last year that said to have the parent sign the form. Thanks for picking that up and correcting.

I just did more searching.. It seems that for a minor child, no G-325a but a birth certificate is required (as opposed to beneficiary birth cert only required at NVC for spousal petitions)?

Do I have it right this time?

if i file an I-130 for my daughter, is there any way i could get it expedited since my husband's I-130 has been approved already? So that they could come together?

Absolutely!

On the outside of the mailing envelope, write in big letters - I-130 Expedite for child, I-130 for spouse already approved.

Write a cover letter asking for the expedite , list the Receipt # on the approved I-130.

Since yer still at NVC, stop further processing till the daughter's casefile catches up with the husband's casefile, then pay all her fees, and ask (at NVC) that the two casefiles been joined together. I see you not submit his DS-230 yet, so hold off on that till her casefile is joined up with his.

Are you still in the PI ? Do you qualify for filing via DCF? If so, you might want to consider filing the I-130 on the daughter directly to the USCIS office in Manila, forget everything else I've written above.

Yeaahh.. I was thinking the same. coz the g325a falls on the part where it says, if filing for spouse. and for children, it only says Birth Certificate... .

it can be, if you qualified for PI residency requirements (and also USCitizenship length requirements).

I dunno though, if you had the baby in the PI, and you not meet USCitizenship requirements for filing CRBA, you most likely won't meet the USCitizenship requirements for filing via DCF. I could of course, be wrong.

The birth certificate is required.

The form that the parent will sign on behalf of the minor child is the DS-230 at the NVC stage. The DS-3032 (choice of agent) can also be signed by the parent.

No.

She needed her own I-130 and trip through the NVC. You can try to expedite by sending proof of you I-130 approval and P4 but don't bet on it too much.

No. A separate i-130 must be filed for her. If your husband married you before your daughter's 18th birthday, he can file i-130 for her as a step-dad. Otherwise, you will have to file for her once you gain your LPR status.
