Didn't they have it with the original paperwork that you sent along with your initial petition? 99.9% of the time they have everything you've sent to the USCIS and NVC but it's always a good idea to have copies with you the day of the interview just in case.

If they said they would approve the visa once the divorce papers are received, then they shouldn't take that long for the approval. You then need to add the delivery time to have a rough estimate.

The 10 days wait is most likely the time DHL will take to send the passport back to your wife when approved. Hopefully this will only add a few days to your wait. Better this than a denial or AP for failing to mention you had been married before.

On the instructions for the I-130, under the section: "What documents do you need to prove family relationship" 1(b) Says: "If either you or your spouse were previously married, submit copies of documents showing that all prior marriages were legally terminated". Your previous marriage did happened but, it was annulled, so, you needed to send the legal document that attests to that fact, with your I-130 packet. The fact that he took your wife's passport and DHL instructions makes me think that he will approve her as soon as he sees the document. You are lucky that they did not make her get the original document or, flat out reject her application. Good Luck and congratulations You are almost there!

photocopies with the I-130, but

certified copy or original on interview day.

The IV Unit is doing you a favor, allowing for an emailed scanned divorce decree.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
