We sent the further evidence the Dallas Office requested on 19th December, they received it on 20th......and we are still waiting. They didn't update the USCIS website when they sent the RFE, so it looks like we have to wait for the NOA2 to arrive through the post. I so hope it comes soon, so we can again be active in the process.

Hi folks. As a fellow UK-spouse filer in Texas (but in Houston, not in Irving), I'm interested in what they requested on your RFE. Do you mind? PM me if you don't want to say here. :)

I'm a dual US/Hungarian citizen (both by birth; Hungarian citizenship verification TBA), and my husband is a dual British/Irish citizen (by treaty) from Northern Ireland. We are atheists.

I know it is uncertain as of when we are going to receive an NO2. but, is it safe now to start gathering the NVC paperwork( court and police certificate, birth certificate..) form the applicant ( wife).. or is it too early?

will they expire by the time I receive NO2 ( NO1 was 07/05/2012)?

Mmmm... kind of questionable given the timeline.

If it doesn't take long to get your police certificate, then I wouldn't worry about it until NVC.

They are only good in many places for 6 months.

For other paperwork, like your BC, I would definitely order the long form now if you don't have one.
