Hi !

Little question regarding criminal records :

In order to apply for a green card after my wedding with my US soon-to-be husband at the Paris US Ambassy (we both live in France but want to move to the US as soon I have my green card), I need to provide my criminal records from all the countries where I've lived more than 1 year, which basically means, France included, 4 different countries and criminal records to provide.

Do you know if there is a minimum age regarding the information ? I mean, I first lived abroad when i was 12...

All my records are clean, but it's not easy to provide ALL the records...

Thanks in advance

I believe it is your country of citizenship or any country you lived in after age 16.

BTW, two minor points:

- Your husband will petition you via the Chicago Lockbox, not the UD embassy in Paris (but your interview will be at the embassy).

- You will get a CR-1 spousal visa, which, once you enter the USA, will get you a greencard- you don't get the greencard first and then travel.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
