Hello! My husband just got an email update from Immigration on his pending I-485 application. They said that he has been approved and that a card will be mailed shortly, but we haven't even had the interview yet! Is this a miracle or a mistake?

This is not a mistake ... Your case must have been transfered to CSC ... When you are transfered to CSC you are approved without an interview ...

Like myself many of us K-1ers have been approved without an interview ....

btw, Congratulations on your approval ... You should be seeing your green card in the next week or so ...

Yes the evidence that you sent in with the I-485 looked good, so they approve with out interview.

Just remember that it is a conditional 2 year card, you will have to interview to lift conditions in 2 years time. So in 2 years when you apply to lift the conditions, you will have to show evidence of your marriage/relationship, such as joint accounts, joint loans, credit cards, etc.
