Is it a red flag if you're married within 90 days ? (Vwp)

I read this on here somewhere.

My husband and I met online, I came here on a vwp. We were impulsive and got married within 4 weeks.

We're still happily married and have an almost 2 year old, 4 years later.

Is it a red flag that we got married so soon?

I'm getting ready to apply for AOS in a couple months.

Due to my husband not being up to date with taxes etc we couldn't file sooner.

Thanks.

I think that is from the 30/60/90 day rule, which is when you adjust status, not when you get married. Getting married in the first month of a tourist visa is pretty common, I don't think its an issue at all.

The 30 / 60 / 90 rule is a fallacy.

Well the good news is since you are already married for more than two years you will get your permanent green card. Not the conditional one.

What I post here is merely my personal opinion and not a valid legal advice and should not be viewed as such.
