ACPO police certificate - expiration date?

Quick query - with the ACPO police certificate, is there an expiration date on it? I want to see what's on there and I just sent my I-129F in. When you go for your medical/interview, does the certificate have to have been done within a certain timeframe?

Per the Embassy site:

Note: UK police certificates are valid for one (1) year only. All other foreign police certificates are valid indefinitely, unless the applicant has traveled to the country in the last year. Bearing in mind this information, applicants must ensure that a valid police certificate is presented at the time of their appointment.

It doesn't take very long to get a police certificate from ACPO and there is a rush option available. That said, if you don't know your background and what may/may not be on there, order one now so you'll know. 12 months.

Is it still a year even though it says 6 months in some places and 12 in others. We got ours early. Cheers for quick clarification.
