Just wondering if anyone can give me an idea how long it will take for me to get notification of my interview date?

I applied in September (please see my timeline, below) and was last "touched" on October 15th. Now that the touches seem to have stoppped, I'm getting anxious!

Thanks for your help

Time to AOS can vary greatly depending on field office, you may want to look at the VJ timelines for AOS and filter for your local field office to get an idea on the times involved. Also look at the AOS statistics on the VJ timeline page.

I feel for you, Jenny in Stereo. At least we're not alone! I was feeling really good at the start of this process, because things seemed to be moving really quickly - I was even predicting an interview by the end of the year. But now everything seems to have ground to a halt. Oh well....

Yes I see your timeline started, :) About touches, there will be a few when the case gets entered into the system and then in most cases nothing for weeks, even months, until they begin to actually adjudicate it.

I know I know :) just anxious, that's all and congrats on the pregnancy :) come up with any names yet? I lived in Ireland and it was a huge part of my life for a long time (the country) and so I want to use an Irish name when I have a baby... I know that's completely off topic.. but saw your ticker tag and was curious :)

I know what you mean by anxious.....I'm just fed up with the whole AOS disaster at this point.

Thanks for the congrats. We have a few names picked out....We're almost sure it's a girl so we are going with simple but pretty names like Rachel, Katie, Emma and such. I would love to go with an Irish name, but I really don't want to inflict it on my child, lol! Even the most common Irish names have awful spelling and pronunciation problems outside of Ireland especially, so what we decided to do is give her Erin as her second name, so at least we have some association. If by chance, we do have a boy, we have decided on Gavin for a first name, which is actually Welsh, not sure about the second name yet. So much to think about! :)
