My husband is now over 2 hours late returning from work...he always calls me if he is going to be late, his mobile is switched off and no one is answering his work phone. There is nothing 'newsworthy' that he might be kept at work and not able to contact me. I have checked the traffic reports and there has been 1 accident at a road he travels thro :(

I know there is nothing you guys can do but it stops me pacing up and down :lol:

I got that sick feeling y'know? :(

Being an extreme worrier is in my genes. I know exactly how you feel. I give myself ulcers for nothing.

I'm sure he'll be home soon. And he better have flowers if he knows what's good for him! :D

April 2003 - fell in love

Aug 2004 - go to the US for internship

Feb 2005 - both return to Germany

Aug 2006 - getting married

DCF timeline:

09/01/2006 - filed the petition in Frankfurt

09/06/2006 - medical in Frankfurt

09/26/2006 - faxed checklist

10/05/2006 - received interview invite

11/01/2006 - INTERVIEW in Frankfurt - approved!

11/04/2006 - VISA IN HAND!!

12/21/2006 - POE San Francisco and ON TO SEA!

*January 24 2006 - mailed in I129-F petition

*January 25 2006 - I129-F received at CSC

*January 30 2006 - packet returned.....arggggggggg we forgot one signature!!

*January 31 2006 - sent I129-F back to the CSC, hope we did not forget anything else

*February 1 2006 - I129-F received at CSC again

*February 3 2006 - NOA1

*April 20 2006 - NOA2!!!!!

*April 24 2006 - Touched!

*May 15 2006 - NVC received petition today!

*May 17 2006 - Case left NVC today!!

*November 13 2006 - Greencard arrived...yeah I can work!

*November 14 2006 - Touched my case again

*January 2007 - RFE for kids Greencard.

*February 2007 - kids medical and sent in RFE

*February 2007 - Received kids greencards

It's not stupid at all. This is an unusual circumstance, and you're worried about your loved one. That seems perfectly normal to me.

I'm sure he's fine, and maybe he's doing what others have suggested -- buying you flowers or doing something else he wants to be a surprise. ;)
