I'd keep trying to get that info pass appointment if you are really worried. I know it would be burdensome to get there, but our only real other option is to wait for your NOA2 from Orlando with them not scheduling an interview or you getting a letter for an interview. It sucks, but I can't imagine there is much else you can do and odds are on not having the interview.

I am aware it is a pain in the xxx, just trying to be polite. We pay good money and personally the excessive delays and poor service are unacceptable. Their is no oversight in the organization and for sure no transparency. It appears to be getting worse no matter what you have applied for. We have had our own issues, application hiccups and lack of professional file handling. Maybe as a group we could sign a petition via a congressman. All I know is I appealed my Sr. Congressional member and his office treated me like dog dirt, I even appeared when I was on duty. When an immigration officer lies to your face, and jam's you intentionally, their is no recourse and good luck getting everything under FOIA.

In Arizona its hot hot hot.

I received the same letter. My service office is in San Antonio. All I can think of is that those field offices do a lot of adjust of status cases. Those type of cases need interviews and maybe that is just a generic letter for those cases.

I also dont see as a bad thing if they want to interview us. I think that is better. You can clarify any question they have, so they dont make a decision base on their own asumptions.

an i130 appoval doesnt have many assumptions to be made

either you qualify or you dont

ive never even seen someone denied

no that it doesnt happen, just that theyre rare

they are typically for people petitioning for beneficiaries with overstay history and things like that

if you have no real red flags then it would bea very pointless interview.

and i dont mean red flags like age and religious differences

Everything about us is pretty straight forward. So I guess it would be a pointless interview. Not sure why we would have been flagged. We have been married a year now. Dating four. Friends for ten. We have numerous pictures, family affidavits I mean everything we sent them. Yahoo convos, skype calls, phone records. All I can do is wait. March will be a year we havent seen eachother but we decided if there is no visible movement on our case by mid Feb we are going to plan a visit in March. I miss my hubby my son misses his step dad. Just praying everyday. Been trying to get paperwork together for NVC so we can fly through that process.

SO I got the above email after a call I placed and literally have NO IDEA what it means. Do the petitioners get interviewed at their local office? O.o I thought just my husband would have ot interview in Canada..Is this a bad thing? Does this mean were approved and just waiting for another step? Has anyone else seen this before? This whole thing is nerve racking everytime I call the ISOs have another curve ball to throw me...Its like i wish they could all get on the same page.

Your spouse is in Canada, right? If they are in Canada, the interview will be in Canada. I was told by someone in the boards that all interviews are done in Montreal, but I was reading one of the Visa Journey things and it said they're done in Vancouver as well. If you're in the States, however, the review will be in the States.

Going through the same thing myself for immigration for my husband :).

If you're in line to be interviewed, that sounds to me like they approved your application so far. But of course it isn't actually approved until the interview and give you the visa!

Incorrect. You think this is the visa interview, but this is in regards to the petitioner interview for I-130.

Which is rare.
