When I was with my wife in the Philippines in December, I filled out DS-230 and had her sign part 1.

Problem is, I didn't use all capital letters when I filled it out. However, I didn't see instructions on any website or on the form itself to use all capital letters. All other forms specifically state: black ink and all capital letters.

This shouldn't be a problem, should it?

I-864 - http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3730.html

General NVC stuff - http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_1335.html

IIRC, the I-864 is in all caps, but the DS-230 isn't. I could be dead wrong, of course.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

ya I noticed the same thing, I-864 has to be uppercase, but DS-230 doesn't say anything about it. I just don't want the worst-case scenario to happen, having them make us send in a new one. Thanks ~

I've decided to do everything in ALLCAPSALLTHETIME now. I had to re-do my I-864. And in doing the DS-260 online I believe it forced CAPS. If they want all caps they should force the form to be all caps!
