Thank you Krikit!!! That's very helpful advice! I never thought of the KM and Miles bit. Also where can I go to find the info on possibly county tax?

Can anyone teach me how to quote a few people in one reply so I won't have to add so many replies/posts in this thread??

You hit the "MultiQuote" button at the bottom of each post. When you have tagged (hit MultiQuote) all the posts you want to reply to you hit "Add Reply". Each post will appear in the same reply box.

You can give your County Tag Office a call and ask them. That's about the best you can do to find the info. Each County has its own rules and/or interpretation. Sorry.

I mean your canadian car.

Look under the hood and on the door and see if there is a sticker.

If there is a sticker. Then /done.

If you reply to them all fast, it compiles them into one post.

Otherwise you do a lot of copy and pasting.

I already took a picture of the sticker for Toyota as they had asked for that :)

In a perfect world yes.....but if they will issue you the letter, best to get it

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

I figured I've already done the steps in getting a physical letter, I might as well get it. I just want to have everything thats needed than not having it and hope for the best.
