Personally I prefer to deal with people in person, that way you can see that they are actually doing something, rather then just assuming they are doing it over the phone. Since you say you can walk to the embassy it doesnt seem like its that big of a hardship for you to go there and they also gave you a paper advising you to simply walk in anytime with your birth certificate so it doesnt seem like youd have difficulty getting to a window where someone would be able to assist you.

So the advantage to going in person would be youd actually be able to visually verify the person typing something or writing something down, whereas on the phone youd have to just assume they did.

I am going to get it soon, but my wife will come here and may be we can reach at embassy by February 10-15.

How can I contact with the embassy, can I make a phone call or walk there, or is it better if my wife call to the Dhaka embassy?

Today I have submitted the Birth Certificate of my Baby.

(May be this was a counter and a lady were there) She kept the Birth Certificate & my Passport and gave me a 'Small White Token' with a date of one week later.

That seems like wonderful news. Typically they keep your passport to print the VISA in it!!!

Hopefully youll get it back with the visa printed and youll be able to travel soon!
