I recieved the letter of appointment for the AOS interview today. It will be a month from now. I changed my address a month ago from AR to CA. I did my bios for EAD and AOS in my present address which is supposedly done at my previous address. I got my EAD card the other day.

the problem is my interview date for AOS will be on April 3 in LA,CA. and i will be going back to AR 1st of April. Can we do the interview there in Fort Smith, AR though the venue is in LA,CA?

Does anybody here know anything what to do about this?

Thanks so much. I am really confused  . Pls. I need advice. :help:

GC,

If you can delay your return to AR for a few days, I would recommend that you go to the interview in CA. If you request for it to be moved back to AR, you will have to wait until they physically transfer your file to AR, for someone in AR to take your file, review it and schedule you for interview. Who knows how long you have to wait until you get a chance for a new interview schedule.

eau_xplain is right.

i dont think it good to pospone the interview.

you told them before that you will transfer so they transfer your records.

they might delay your AOS already because of frequent changing of address and not just address but between 2 address only.

my suggestion too is to go for the interview first.

its you rdecision.

good luck.
