So you mean to tell me that churches teach the wring stuff? Which ones? All of them?

The only infallible rule of faith for me is the Bible. That's not to say I don't study historical context and commentaries. Both are extremely helpful. Most people misinterpret the Bible on some points. I personally don't believe in infant baptism. I could be wrong on that, though. There are some things that are taught by congregations which are incorrect. Otherwise you'd have only one denomination. But I try not to major on the minor points. Though I believe error matters, I don't believe it affects their salvation at all. I consider the essentials to be things like the beliefs asserted in the Nicene Creed. Though I hold to other creeds that are based upon the Bible, I don't believe they have the authority the Bible possesses. And like I said, no one is righteous in and of themselves; not a single one (with the obvious exception of God himself). Therefore I have to assume I've made errors myself in theology, and continue to do so. I just trust the Holy Spirit to direct my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ to correct me through Scripture when I err.

You'd rather ignore Him and focus on two sentences written by his followers decades after his death. Followers who never saw him. But they know what He meant, He didn't. Whatever rocks your boat.

Look man, I value your opinion and all that but you are going to have to bring a little bit more than that to make your case, show me one homosexual relationship in the bible that was accepted, give me some scripture that blots out the dozens of other ones addressing it.

How many times must it be written "Man shall not lie with man as he does with a woman?

I get people rejecting the Bibles teaching but to pretend what is so clearly stated demands more than a suggesting... Bring it dude!]
