I had to wait 5-10mins. There was only one electronic voting machine and the person there before me seemed to be taking a long time and wasn't sure what they were doing. That's the only reason I had to wait. There was also the option of paper ballots, but I thought the electronic would be faster. I was wrong!

I voted -- busy precinct but no lines due to super-efficient polling staff.

It took me something like 10 minutes -- I never know who to vote for when it comes to judges and drain commissioners and such-like.

I voted for candidates belonging to the 2 major parties -- I checked into the independents and they were all too scary to contemplate....well, scarier than the 2 major parties

Voted.

The polling location is at the end of my street. Literally 3 houses down. Took me 42 seconds to get there. lol. 3 electronic voting machines, only one in use. So, it took me about 2 minutes to vote, since I already knew who I was going to vote for.

I voted Libertarian and Democrat, unless only a Republican was running. The one exception was I voted for Richard Lugar. He's a pretty good guy, really.

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.

When I was 18 and voting for the water district (highly important) I voted at a Church. I almost got hit by an old woman who accidently stepped on the gas pedal instead of the breaks and that's when I decided Absentee voting was for me. She did however run into the church and made a hole in the side of the wall- that was pretty awesome.

Stories like these could increase voter turnout among the under 21 crowd. Vote and see a car plow into a church. Awesome!

Oregon: All Vote by Mail, All the Time!

We did wait until yesterday to drop the ballots off. Since it's the DAH's first time (new USC!) I thought we should make an event out of it. Since it was chucking down rain, that involved driving past the Sherriff and handing the ballots through the car window. Sweet.

Mix of candidates; I'll vote for who's getting things done and/or isn't a total idiot or freak (Greens, please get serious).

It was fun to disect the ads with the DAH, show him how I make my decisions, listen to his thoughts & 'outside' perspectives. I was proud of him for not even thinking twice about voting $$ for the library and the schools. He was more invested in the results than I expected, too, so that was fun to watch last night.

Wife voted for first time yesterday and was suprised at how many people at work today said they didn't vote. The touch screen voting was pretty easy to use and it may have even registered who we voted for. LOL

I voted absentee so much easier, two weeks ago.
