CR1 Visa Status after Interview

Hello VJ friends,

My husband just had his CR1 visa interview today in Mumbai. They took all documents from him and informed him that they will notify him in 5 days. Unfortunately my husband did not question them why. I thought they would tell him the result whether it is approved, denied or need more documents. I am so confused and worried now.

Does anyone have any idea of why they are holding the documents with out telling the result. Please advice.

if they took your passport thats a good sign,it could be more review on your documents with the supervisor

Yes they did take his passport.

Yes, they did interview him but did not return the original documents back.

Thank you so much. I just checked the status and it says visa has been printed and it will be soon mailed to the pickup location selected. I am happy that finally we got the visa. Thanks again for the link.
