Actually we are writing a letter to the senator stating exactly that. We are working on it, the centers are swamped with paperwork from applicants who benefited from the dream act. This has made things slow down for all of us working through months and following the legal way to get to BE WITH OUR LOVED ONES. So unfair :crying:

My family and I were talking about this recently. I could not agree more.

I would not be opposed to writing a letter as well - I should have just recorded the discussion we had recently and sent it to these decision makers!

I admire your passion and courage to speak up - it just might inspire many to make a dent in an age old problem. Good work my friend.:wow:

Count me in - these waivers and things for illegals are only punishing legal filers. We should have our applications processed first.

I totally agree!

It seems easier to get into the country illegally than it is to get in legally. In my opinion this long and costly journey we are all on is one of the reasons why people would choose to do it illegally.

Good luck to everyone!

Have you ever watched border wars?

God bless those people that almost dehydrate in the desert trying to get over.

Or break limbs jumping over the fence.

Or get run over holding on under rail cars.

Or get crushed hiding in the landing gear of planes.

Or drown swimming across the rivers.

Or get hit by cars running across the highway.

Don't mistake this for approval.

I absolutely hate not being able to understand who is taking my order at McDonalds.

I'm just saying it's not so easy.

I'm pretty sure we do.

If we did there wouldn't be such a backlog at VSC right now. It is a little different for people brought here as children illegally, but still.

Also, add to that my father and my Yorkshire side....willing to marry any American and do anything to come over by hook or by crook.

Well then I don't know how those people have timelines like 1-2 years.

Not to mention even PR have to wait much longer than citizens to sponsor someone.

Well my Aunt waited about 25 years to come here legally. How's that for you? ;)
