If it's silly for you to start wearing it now why is it a must that he doesn't see you without it before marriage? I can understand why you want to wear it in Egypt but for him not to be able to see your hair before marriage is kinda silly IMO. It's just hair.

I was 13 when I had my first kiss. I still remember where it was too and I drive by it everyday.

Actually he has other friends who haven't either and neither have his sisters. I guess it depends on what area of Cairo you live in. He lives in the old Islamic area I think. I kind of like it though. It's like how I"d rather hire a staff person right out of college then someone with experience so that I can teach them fresh how to do the audits and not have to spend time erasing bad habits.

My suggestions:

Laptop, if you have one...(if you are flying with Lufthansa they are offering until Dec. 31 free in-flight internet as a promotion..later there will be a flat rate for internet use on the plane)

Mp3 player or CD player

Books and magazines

Cross word puzzles

Extra work or school work

Pen and paper (can do alot of thinking at 10.000 ft)

Donnot sleep much before your long flight, I usually do this and sleep for about half the flight...

FYIs:

Make friendly with your flight attendant, they will charge your laptop in flight(if they like you) and also make your flight more comfortbale

I have had the Hep A vaccine and I'm picking up the Typhoid pills today. Not looking forward to that one. I had a very bad reaction that I'm still dealing with from the Hep A vaccine and I'm not really that hopeful about the Typhoid pill.

don't forget your West Nile pills too.. that close to the nile, you don't want to take ANY chances
