so my husband and I seem like we are close to the end after being seperated for about a year and have a son he has not met yet. His interview is scheduled for Jan. 22 in Amman Jordan and I dont think I have ever beeen so nervous in my life and I am not even the one being interviewed lol..Hes nervous but not as much as me which I guess is a good thing. I am unable to attend so I will be patiently waiting his phone call. We just want to be a family again and he wants to finally meet his son who just turned 7 months end of december. I pray to God he gets approved on the spot and we can finally be a family again. Sorry just wanted to vent.

Keeping my fingers crossed for you - I feel your pain at being separated.... god bless your family - inshallah you will be together soon.

As for me I am just feeling more and more helpless - lost in this whole process and just full of doubts....

just think positive thoughts - picture that moment in the airport when he sees his baby for the first time - it will happen :)

I know it is easier said than done, but try to be calm. Having been to the interview with my husband in Amman with my husband I can tell you there is nothing at all to be nervous about. Everyone at that consulate was kind and helpful, from the guards at the door all the way to and including the consulate officers. If he gets AP(a lot of men do thru Amman) there is nothing you can do to avoid it, but I am 100% positive he will not be denied. My husband had AP but it didn;t last long, and the consulate was very good and kind when I inquired about his AP via email, at every stage they were. Your husband will do just fine and he will be here before you know it. Once my husband's visa was issued he had it in hand in 2 days. Good luck, if you need me feel free to contact me!!!

I really hope he has a great result for the sake of his family who is longing to be with him. Praying for a short AP.

It is natural to be nervous but there is hardly anything you can do about that. Good luck.

August 22, 2012: case complete
October 18, 2012: Interview (APPROVED)
October 26, 2012: Picked up visa from DHL (delay caused by Sandy)
December 15, 2012: POE Atlanta....................became USC July 2016!!!!

08/21/2012: NOA1

8/21/2012 : NOA1 Hardcopy

8/28/2012 : 1-797C Action Transferred to NBC (Assuming sent to Atlanta Local office...but no telling)

O9/4/2012 : Last touched.

2/26/2013 : Infopass with Atlanta (confirmed file is there and no action yet. To be started in March)

03/18/2013 : 2nd Infopass (No review or processing of any stand-alone I-130s for 60-90 days. URGHHHHHHHHHH)

04/6/2013: NOA2 (228 days from NOA1)

NVC

05/10/13 USCIS Atlanta letter to me confirms this date as sent to NVC

05/20/13 NVC Received Case (Waiting on case number)
06/7/2013 NVC case number assinged
06/7/2013 Choice of agent complete now awaiting fees

Gave up tracking when I left overseas...but we are almost done biggrin.png!

wishing you the very best of outcomes. go to your embassy reviews and study interview questions with him. Then TRY to stay distracted during those hours he will be engaged until he calls.

01/08/2013: Case # and IIN assigned ( file arrived NVC mail room 12/20/12)
01/09/2013: AOS invoiced and paid, DS-3032 emailed and mailed.
01/16/2013: IV invoiced &paid. AOS & IV mailed in one package(arrived 01/18).
