Packet Question

I have four questions that I need answers to and I would truly appreciate your help.

First, how will the packet be sent to my gf, regular mail or by other means?

Second question, the list that is posted with interview dates, how often is it posted and did I understand correctly that it has the interview dates three months in advance?

Thirdly, will I receive and e-mail or letter informing me of the interview date for my gf?

Last, how do you find out when your file is received in Manila. I called NVC and was told that it was sent out Oct. the 11th.

Thanks

There is a wealth of information regarding this embassy here: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...181&st=2430

current wait is 120 to 150 days to interview after embassy confirms receipt of your petition approval. Spouse will receive letter and checklist via regular mail a couple of weeks or so after embassy processes your received petition. Then you are in another waiting line for interview date.

good luck

1) Snail Mail letter from the embassy acknowledging the date they received your petition

2) The interview link is not reliable, so it is best to call the Embassy between 0730-0800 am, but wait until they have your case for about 90 days before you start calling.

3) I have not heard of the embassy emailing anyone. Most Receive Packet 4 witht he required forms and the interview date as well as the scheduled medical dates.

4) Once the NVC send it out, it is out of their hands. The letter your finacee receives will have the received date on it.

Patience... good luck, Ken
