It is more than that. It is common sense. If you are going to pull out a gun on an intruder you need to be ready to pull the trigger, lest he does it first and you end up on the business end of his weapon. It is quite simple, really.

I missed the part in the OP where it stated the gentleman was not ready to pull the trigger if need be. Maybe you can quote that in your next post along with the part where he wet himself.

Gun shows, just get in line at zero dark thirty. Lots of folks sourcing ammo at gun shows now. Cheaperthandirt has ammo, however, the wait is a little longer than normal to fill the orders.
