Hello Fellow VJ'ers!

The petition was sent to the Embassy in Casablanca on Dec 17, 2012 and we have not heard anything about the interview and my fiance has not recvd any instruction packets. I realize the Holidays just passed but do they normally take a long time to get things moving? I'm getting really anxious/nervous/frustrated to get this far and not see things moving.

Any advice/suggestions from others that have been through the process at this Embassy...is there anything I can do to speed up/inquire as to what is going on?

Thanks Much All!

Hi,

When my husband had his interview, it took about 3 weeks before the embassy scheduled it from when it was forwarded to the embassy. I would say if he doesn't receive something soon you can email them and ask if he has been scheduled. They may just be delayed from the holidays, however, Morocco is definitely not know for having a very reliable mail system so there is always the chance his packet is missing.

Good luck with your interview.

Jackie

Hi Jackie,

Thank you for your response. I emailed them Monday but still no response or word & he has been trying to call the Embassy but no answer. I guess our hands our tied at this point.

The first time we went throught the process we had to email them to get the interview date because he never received a packet.

Hi...thank you for your response! Do you remember how long it took for the embassy to respond/schedule? I emailed them an inquiry last Monday & no response yet.

I didnt hear from the after a week so I emailed them again and they sent the date to me through email the same day. I mentioned in my second email that I had not received a response from my previous request. He never got the packet so we just went to the website to get all the forms we needed.
