Timeline

He means that they used to take a year till they gave ppl interview app. now they take within 6-8 months for interviews. that its better. but the thing is they need a better boss.

to me it is the first time I went to the embassy

my interview was scheduled by NVC not the embassy and the interview went well they were so gentale and they gave me white slip dated to pick up the visa

I heard it was little complicated before

Alhamdululah any way , now it is better hope you all get your visa soon

each country is diff and for us yemen embassy is always shuttin down . it takes 4-8months to get an interview

question for ppl who were on AP. how many times did the embassy update ur case online before calling??

Thats a good question but honestly i have no idea about those types of cases. they have this visa bulliten but dnt now how it works they give one every month and its for permenent residence who r filing for their families only its not for citizens who file. ir1 is my case so idk bout that

03-02-2012 - Paid AOS Fee

03-30-2012 - Emailed DS-230 & Police Clearance

04-10-2012 - Received Checklist

06-??-2013 - Emailed AOS

07-25-2013 - Case Complete

10-29-2013 - Packet 4 Received

12-31-2013 - Interview ----Administrative Processing

01-20-2014 - Embassy called to go in on Wednesday the 22nd

01-22-2014 - picked up visa, yyaaayyyy

Has anyone tried contacting their congressman? I contacted Senator Debbie Stabenow. My wife got case complete September 3rd and she is now with me in the US. She arrived one week ago. Contact her she is awesome. Services@stabenow.senate.gov

only people in her district can ask for immigration help. but can u tell us how she helped u. wat did u tell jer and what did she say to the embassy and what was the outcome right after. also how many times did they change ur case status on the ceac website before they gave her an app.
