Put on AP I asked if they need any paperwork from me they said no and that they'll call. They took all the papers we took and his passport. Is that a good sign, that they have the passport with them??

Well the app was for 7:30am but there weren't that many people. But its not that he said leave your passport so we can issue u the visa he said that they need to look over the paperwork and that there's not enough staff and the security in Yemen isn't good so they don't know when they will be done and that they will call when something changes. And we received a administrative processing paper thing from them. I talked to the male counselor. He asked how long have we been married, he asked my husband what's my name, how many kids we have, how old is he, where was I born, what does he work here, where we will be living, I think that's it lol. He was really nice, laughing, joking.

You didn't ask why he was put on AP? That's weird since you have all the papers, the only thing I can think of is maybe because you've been in Yemen too long. But they should've asked proof for domicile in the US not put you in AP.

They never asked how long I've been here I said why was he put on ap he just said that they need too look over our case and they don't have enough staff so it can take a while so they're gonna call when things change and gave me a while paper and that's it. Or asked for proof of domicile.

hk93- i hope so as well. and can i ask y is it that u nd h93 have almost the same names whats the h93 about i get mixed up with both ur names . lol

Funny you say that I was actually gonna put my username as HK93 when first joined this site, H and K being the first letter of mine and my husband's name and 93 the year I was born. But I read topics here in the Yemen portal before I joined and saw a user with a similar name and decided it would probably be weird lol, so I deleted the K.
