Didn't you filed it out before you went with your husband to the interview. They ask for the petitioner information and make you notarized it and the list of number . You don't need to fill in your neighbor number all you need to do is fill out number you know

Like your house number or any number you trust

That will answer and make sure to give you your information in case the embassy calls

Oh yeah

Yeah for the paternity/ maternity affidavit doesn't the petitioner fill out the first half and then the last sheet the beneficiary fills out and signs. But where do you get it notarized if you're in Yemen?

Did you get an interview scheduled already?

Also does anyone know how long is the waiting time to get an interview scheduled after case complete?

At least 5 to 6 months. You never know how this embassy works. You can even expect to get app probably in 2 months. But the embassy in yemen is never accurate.

Worse embassy ever. They are not organized and they do not care about others so idk. Just keep praying to Allah

Asalaam Alaikum. Our case was completed at the NVC in Sept 2013. How long does it usually take for someone to get an interview scheduled? Is there anyone here with an appointment?

I just want to go because I'm anxious lol

Okay so iA I'm going.

I wanted to ask anyone who's went in for a visa pickup, what happened? Explain to me how everything went down?

Please and thanks so much.

Me too I've been asking but no one has replied ahhh. This is killing me lol. It's almost here. Lol can not wait

When my fiancé went in to pick up his visa, he simply went to the Embassy and they gave him back his passport with the visa in it along with a sealed packet that he is not to open. When he gets to the US, the customs officer will open the packet and look over whatever documents are in there.

Also, the visa stated that it was issued on October 28th... He didn't receive it until November 26th. It expires on April 22nd. So they held onto it a whole month before issuing it to him. SMH.

At least he now has it in his hand and was able to return to work to finish out his rotation. We will finally be together on February 21st of 2014!
