Yes you have to do it. And get it notarized.

I don't understand why we have to fill it out again. Aren't we supposed to fill out here for the I-130 interview here in the US.

The I-130 is different then the affidavit

I know that, but what I meant is that when I ( the petitioner) went for my interview here in the US I had to fill out that same affidavit paternity/maternity. And I signed it in front of the officer and handed it to him at the end of the interview. So you have to fill it out once more for the interview in Sanaa?

the affidavit form is suppose to be signed by the petitioner and notarized at any notry public but if u r going to the interview with ur spouse the interviewin officer will notarize it for u. now sweet love i have no idea why ur husband payed 260 for .. the visa application fee should already been payed foronline before u filled it out because they dont allow u to sign it until u have paid both aos fee and visa applicatin fee . know when a person gets his visa in his hands he has to pay the $165 fee for the greencard . this should be paid before entrance to the u.s or they say they wont send u the greencard . the fee is paid only threw online. not in the embassy because it goes to the department of state.

Hey Sweetlove57 what did your husband pay the $260 for? Did you pay all the visas already online like the immigrant visa fee and the affidavit of support fee?
