NVC sent emails to me and my husband.

I guess our husbands will meet each other lol. They both have the same date. Inshallah everything goes well. Hopefully

U.S. Embassy in Sanaa remains closed for all routine services and appointments (October 03, 2013)

The Consular Section remains closed for all routine services and appointments. We are only handling urgent cases. Please be advised that we are not taking appointments through the on-line appointment system for American Citizen Services or Non-Immigrant Visas.

This is what the embassy says on their website. So am confused right now. Does our case consider urgent? I mean they sent us appointment. Am like creaking out right now.

I was reading the page and they said they will not take any appointments for American citizen and non- immigrant visa. So we are not in that category. We are immigrant visa application.so maybe that's why we received an appointment.

I contacted the embassy a few days ago this is what their reply was:

Dear Sir or Madam,

Thank you for your email. The U.S. Embassy is currently closed for

consular services. When the Consular Section reopens, we will contact

individuals who have appointments during the period of closure to

reschedule their appointments.

We will respond to all other inquiries as quickly as we can when the

Embassy resumes operations. We appreciate your patience.

Sadly no , I won't be joining him to his interview because I'm in the United States. I live in CA. Are you in yemen now.

I think so they are open for immigrant application and that is us.

Has anyone recieved to emails regarding the intreview letter. They sent me an email on the 1st about the intreview letter and yesterday I recieved another intreview letter but it's says the exact same thing on the letter

Well May case finished march 26 2013. And I didn't recieved my first intreview app in September 4 but was then canceled due to closer and now I have another intreview date on November 13. But who knows now of we last until November and nothing happen in yemen. But inshallah everything goes good
