Ok I'm just trying to figure out what the flow is like over there. I'm leaving Jordan and going to Algeria next week. I've been here a month and I don't even like it that much so I'm just gonna go there and chill until my wife gets an interview

Thanks for the info Umnori. Have you heard anything from the embassy in Algeria yet? I haven't gotten a single email from them. I'm hoping inshallah I get a interview date this week.

Nope wallah I haven't heard from them and I'm so worried like what email will they contact us on but inshallah Khair I'll let u know as soon as I get an update ... See when my husband had his case in Egypt and an interview date every time I used to check my case status it would still say at nvc so I mvr really trusted that they keep us updated on that website but once it updated us on the transfer and it being ready I have hope again ... الله يسهل للجميع

Question for people with a case in Djibouti:

Our case arrived in Djibouti (from Cairo) on August 4th and the CEAC website said "Ready" with that date. Today I checked on the CEAC website and it still says "Ready" but now the date is updated to today August 6th. Has anyone been following the dates on the CEAC website for their case? Does the new date mean anything, like they looked at our case or that they're going to contact us soon?

Thank you.

I'm going to Algeria next week. I got tired of waiting for them to give my wife an interview. Can you ask your cousin if it's possible to go to the embassy if I'm there to speak with someone about my case? I know at most embassies someone comes out to talk to people like once a day. Do they do that in Algiers?

Has anyone recently in the past couple of days gone to Djibouti or know someone that has? If so did they require anything from them to pass thru mokha or do they just stamp ur passport and go? My husbands having a really hard time trying to get thru they said he needs a security clearance. Also how much is the boat ride from mokha to Djibouti??

I don't think there are anymore boat rides. Yemen airways has daily flights from Aden to Djibouti
