How long have u been waiting since they said they will transfer ur case

Ivyemen is the only one who responded to me on June 16. So I'm a couple weeks behind you. But I had requests prior like the 28th of May but none responded to me. So to answer your question the 16th of June.

Have you contacted the nvc do they tell you when ur case was added to the line of transfer and have u tried emailing Cairo

When I call them they tell me the 16th. And yes cairo sent me an email stating they have not recieved an official statement from Djibouti to transfer my file. I contacted my senator about it last week so inshallah khair.

I have sent them multiple emails and this is what they respond back

Your beneficiary must be physically present in Djibouti in order to request a case transfer. We have teams operating at the Port of Djibouti, registering US citizens and their families, and taking case transfer information for non-USCIT family members. If your family member requests a case transfer at the Port and provides the necessary information, you dont need to do anything else we will request the transfer. Please do NOT send an email case transfer request as well, as this is unnecessary and may delay your case.

I've gotten that auto message a couple times before, but this one was different it didn't even have that guys name MO that it always had. This is what I got exactly:

Please be advised that we have not yet received an official request for transfer from the Post in Djibouti. Once we receive this request, we will move forward with the process of transferring your case.

Regards,

Consular Section

U.S. Embassy Cairo

The transfer goes threw nvc it doesn't go threw embassy. Embassy takes it and forwards the transfer to nvc. When you call nvc what do they tell you about your transfer

The NVC told me the 16 of June my file has been set to transfer and there is no time frame on how long it will take to transfer my file to Djibouti.
