That happen to my brothers case it was scheduled to go to saudia he requested it to Djibouti when it still was at nvc but they sent it to saudia anyways. They told me that it had to go threw a process at the embassy before the embassy can sent it to another embassy. I heard ppl are getting interview dates that were in Cairo is that true.

My husband has had two interview dates pass by for cairo, becuase obviously he cannot get into the country.

But why did ours have to go thru this? How come everyone else received appointments within 2 weeks after requesting a transfer. It's just not fair.

And u know, NVC was tellin me the same thing. That my appointment date to Cairo is now for Djibouti but when I walked in that day, they said I'm sorry ur file is not in our system. I gave them my cell and they said they would call so they can see wats going on. It's been 2 weeks since then and I haven't heard from them.

Yes my wife just received her interview date in cairo, I got her a visa into cairo without any problem from the Egyptian embassey in amman Jordan

I have a few questions for you if you don't mind.

I am also in Amman, Jordan right now I went to the Egyptian embassy about a week ago to fill out an application for my wife for her entry visa into Egypt all they asked for is two copies of her passport, two passport style photos, and her NVC case number.

How long did it take you after you went to the embassy to apply for an entry visa for your wife did you actually get the visa? Also did they call you when the visa was ready or did you come back after two to three weeks and ask them if it was ready?

Also after you entered Egypt did you contact the US embassy in Cairo by email to give you an interview date or did you go the embassy?

How long after you arrived in Egypt is your wife's interview date?

How did she get to Jordan from Yemen?

Yemenia Airlines has flights leaving from Sana'a Airport to Amman, Jordan multiple times a week. The only was you can get a ticket is at the AlZubairi Yemenia Office in Sana'a. Also when you buy a ticket you also have to buy a return ticket even if you don't plan on returning to Yemen, The total cost per person for the flight was $1000.

My husbands friend did the same thing, but he also doesn't have a egyot visa yet.

Thanks for all the help guys my wifes case was just approved today at the embassey will be getting her visa in the mail soon
