When u call nvc what do they tell you. Do they tell you that your case will be transfered from Egypt to djibouti

They told me it was going to be transferred to Djibouti. But about a week ago when I called them, they told me that they sent my case Egypt and that they sent the request to Cairo.... So yea, I dunno, they confused us all.

Now I'm hearing that all the files in Cairo are going to be transferred here. Anyone else hear anything on this?

It takes 3 months to transfer a case to another country

Once your cases arrive in any country quickly send the embassey a email and call them to schedule a interview or they will keep transferring your case you have to let them know multiple times it took them 20 days for them to realize that I was in egypt because they keep sending automated messages in response to my emails

You said that you're in Egypt how did you get to Egypt? Were you in Yemen? Do you have an interview date yet?

When you expedited your request did Cairo sent you an email asking you to send some documents via mail and then they will schedule you for an interview

I left yemen right before the war got a visa and left

Yes when I asked to expedite they asked for a letter that stated why I wanted to expedite and that's it

Then they gave me a interview

Well, it's confusing, but I'll keep it short, the NVC transferred his case the 28th of May, but we thought it was there long before then becuase he had an appt, originally the 30 of May in Cairo, but my husband has been in Djibouti since the 18th of May.

So your husbands case was already in Cairo before the NVC said they would transfer his case to Djibouti, is that correct?

Did you send a request of transfer again to the embassy. I spoke to a counsular she mentioned that all request are sent to the nvc. They process everything

I sent the Embassy and the NVC an email to transfer my case again. But I don't understand what's going on anymore. The NVC already received all my transfer requests and said that they would transfer it to Djibouti but they ended up sending my case to Cairo even after I told them a million times not to. I requested the transfer to Djibouti while my case was at NVC but they sent it to Cairo anyway. I think they purposely did that so that the cases wouldn't all come to Djibouti at once. They moved along all the cases that were DJI and the rest went to Cairo til they made space for all the YTC cases.....

Am I making any sense?
