Is the Humanitarian Parole only for people who are sick or gravely ill? Can someone file because of the war? My friends mom wants to file a Humanitarian Parole visa for her mom.

I am not sure how it completely works I just mentioned it to you all because I was told if expediting does not work than I could try the parole. But it is towards humanitarian issues and the war has caused horrid conditions for everyone. So give it try and with the will of Allah things will work out.

I have not been able to contact him in like a week already. He has sent me videos of the bomings, but not pics. he does live close to a military base. He used to go to work and university, but since the war he stopped. He is also having a hard time, because there is hardly any food and water in Yemen. He is just surviving on what he bought before the war started. He did stock up, but not enough. When it is finished I am not sure how he will be able to make it.

Where does your husband live?

In Shaa Allah

It goes to Nvc next. You can get a head start and call them and see if they have your case number Nd invoice number . If they do you log in with those numbers and pay the aos fee $120. Follow the steps in the Nvc wiki it will answer all your questions.

I already paid all the fees.. the aos and the IV and submitted the ds260

the case in that website says ready.. but ready for what?

My case is still at the uscis and i have only received a noa1. How long did it take to you get to the nvc?

It all depends on the service center you are in. Mine was texas and it was considered the slowest but Alhamdulilah I had my noa2 about 3 months after the noa1... but due to the problems in Yemen now... I think it will be expedited

Now you wait for Nvc to complete your case. They used to say 60days but I heard it's taking around 30 now. At this stage you can call Nvc and harass them. That's what I did a supervisor ended up completing my case for me over the phone. I got really lucky alhamdlillah. I made so much dua Edited by Adam_M

It says read for interview and they gave her a date. She wants to change the date though but she wants to know if anyone know if she does changes the date, how long will they take until they send her a different date or does she have to apply all over again?

This is the response I got back from Cairo when asked about a solution to entering Egypt. Somebody that's already has an interview date needs to send them an email because they won't answer without one apparently

Kindly mention your case number so that we may check the required documents and advise you accordingly.

Regards,

Consular Section

U.S. Embassy, Cairo

Have they given you an appointment yet?
