The war in Yemen is a good enough reason. Just do let them know how tough of a condition it is. No food, water, shelter. They will approve it. They have been for almost everyone. Good luck In Shaa Allah.

When expediting my case, smdoes that mean they will give me an interview really soon? Like a interview quick to either Djibouti or Egypt? Which one is more quicker to get an interview date Djibouti or Egypt or it's going to be the same of it's going to be expedited? We're all in the same boat. I think you shouldn't be specific when you expedite your case tell them you're will to go anywhere for an appointment. As far as what's faster and if they give us an early appointment. I don't think anyone has that answer yet. We're still waiting for the first ones to tell us there experience. That's why is encouraged that everyone updates us with any changes. We all need to help each other out during this nightmare. In Shaa Allah we get out of this mess soon.

That's true, we can learn from other people experience. I don't think I want an interview date to Egypt because it looks like it's impossible to go there from yemen since it requires a visa or I may be wrong

Things will get better In Shaa Allah. They approved my expedite in Ethiopia and next thing I know they tell me there sending it to Egypt. So I think there going to do what they want. Fine by me as long as it leaves Nvc. I don't mind waiting a few months for an interview. Since my case just got completed 2 weeks ago. I'll tell you guys this thou if your not persistent and active with Nvc you'll be last to get an expedite. I can tell they hate me by now of how many times I call them. Doesn't bother me one bit. Call til you get results.

Throughout the day. It takes like 20 tries sometimes and a long wait. Just hang up and keep trying

I didn't apply for the spouse visa; I applied for the fiance visa, but let me tell you guys my experience so far. My fiance is currently in Yemen, and only because he was waiting for a student visa for Malaysia to get approved (which it got approved AFTER the war started). He has never lived in Yemen and it's technically not his home. Anyway, when we applied, we put the embassy in Kuala Lumpur on the application, but we said he is still in Yemen. On Friday it got sent to Malaysia. Now we're a tiny bit scared because he can't get out of Yemen.
